The "Stego" chassis is my first attempt at a custom AX10 chassis and is designed to provide multiple link and shock mounting options for experimentation. The design is based around the stock bottom plate and stock lower links.
Shock options:
1. Sprung using AX10 stock shocks with ~2.75" ground clearance.
2. Full droop using stock shocks with ~2.5" ground clearance.
3. Partial droop using stock shocks with 1/4" uptravel and ~2.5" ground clearance.
4. Any other 3-4" shock should be usable as well.
Link options:
The stock links are used, but the design requires longer upper links in attempt to remove some torque twist. There are two upper link mounting options, one that keeps the links parallel and one that should introduce a little anti-squat. |
